Job summary

Anglian Learning in Cambridge is seeking a Chief Finance Officer to lead the finance and procurement functions and report to the executive leadership team.

The postholder will be accountable for the financial health of the Trust, delivering the financial plan and supporting strategic objectives. Fully qualified accountant required; salary on Leadership Scale L22-L26 £86,803 - £95,735 FTE, with a pay award pending.

Job description

Pure Executive is delighted to be partnering with Anglian Learning to appoint a Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to be based in Cambridge.

The Chief Finance Officer will be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team and has executive responsibility for the finance and procurement functions within the Trust. The postholder will be accountable for the financial health of the Trust and managing the financial plan to ensure delivery of the Trust’s strategic and financial objectives.

Salary:Leadership Scale L22-L26 £86,803 - £95,735 FTE (Pay award of 3.5% pending), Expected Start Date: February 2027 (subject to completion of relevant checks), Closing Date: 2nd October 2026. Interview Date: 14th October 2026.
