Integrate (Preston & Chorley) Ltd is seeking a visionary Chief Executive to steer our charity through a period of growth and change. Based at our Preston head office with hybrid working, you will set strategic direction, oversee delivery of high‑quality services, and strengthen financial sustainability.

You will lead a talented team, build strong external partnerships with funders and regulators, and champion rights and person‑centred practice for people we support.

Qualifications

  • Senior leadership experience in social care, health, or a related field.

Job description

Head office Preston – with an option for hybrid working.

Contract

Permanent, full‑time – subject to a six-month probationary period.

Our work spans Supported living, social enterprises and forensic services for people with a learning disability and sensory loss promoting dignity, independence, and social justice. Our current Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is retiring and as we enter our next phase of challenges and opportunities, we are seeking an exceptional CEO to lead the organisation with clarity, ambition, and compassion.

The Role

The CEO will provide strategic leadership, ensure operational excellence, and act as the primary ambassador for the charity. Reporting to the Board of Trustees, you will drive organisational performance, maintain and strengthen financial sustainability, and champion the rights and voices of the people we support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic leadership — Lead the development and delivery of the charity’s long‑term strategy, ensuring alignment with mission, vision, values, and regulatory requirements.
  • Operational oversight — Ensure high‑quality, safe, and compliant services across all provision.
  • Financial stewardship — Oversee budgets, risk management, and long‑term financial planning.
  • External relations — Represent the charity with funders, commissioners, regulators, and partners.
