Overview
Hawk Aerospace Private Limited is a startup aerospace company, registered in 2020, working in UAV/drone manufacturing, training and service. We develop drones for agriculture, pilot deployment services for spraying and seeding with AI-based data-driven technology, and are preparing a medical drone delivery system for European and American markets.
We are looking for a CEO – Chief Executive Officer to lead marketing, sales and revenue growth and take Hawk to the next level. This role includes core team involvement and equity participation as part of the early-stage leadership team.
Equity & Investment: This role comes with core team member equity and investment participation between GBP 100K – GBP 500K.
Location: London, England, United Kingdom. Employment type: Full-time. This position is based in the UK and involves leadership of a drone services company focused on agriculture.

Responsibilities
- Develop a clear vision and long-term strategy aligned with emerging trends in agricultural technology, sustainability, and drone-based services.
- Set strategic goals to scale the business, including drone-enabled precision agriculture capabilities and service offerings.
- Lead adaptation and innovation by monitoring drone tech and agricultural practices, identifying new market opportunities and potential pivots.
- Build and manage a high-performing team across drone operation, data analytics, software development, marketing and customer service.
- Cultivate a positive company culture and open communication across teams.
- Engage in investment and fundraising activities, including pitching to venture capitalists, angel investors, and government grants.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and KPI tracking to measure ROI on technology and personnel investments.
- Drive cost efficiency through negotiations, vendor management, and optimization of drone equipment and software costs.
- Develop and implement marketing, branding, and sales strategies to attract and retain clients in the agriculture sector.
- Define brand identity, value proposition and market positioning for farmers, agribusinesses and other stakeholders.
- Establish customer acquisition and retention plans, manage sales pipelines, and build long-term client relationships.
- Guide product/service development and technology integration (e.g., NDVI, multispectral sensors, AI analytics) to deliver actionable insights.
- Explore service expansion possibilities (e.g., precision planting, irrigation management, drone-based spraying).
- Ensure regulatory compliance with UK CAA rules and ongoing regulatory changes; supervise safety and operational standards.
- Monitor service performance through testing and optimization in real-world agricultural environments.
- Identify and manage strategic partnerships within the agriculture tech ecosystem and with government bodies where applicable.
- Address regulatory, financial, operational and market risks with contingency planning and adequate insurance coverage.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong leadership experience in a startup or scaling business, preferably in drones, agriculture tech, or related industries.
- Ability to define a strategic vision and translate it into actionable goals, with hands-on involvement in early stages.
- Experience in fundraising, investor relations, and securing government or private grants.
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting and KPI measurement.
- Proven ability to hire and develop a multidisciplinary team and foster a collaborative culture.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements for drone operations in the UK (CAA) and data protection laws (GDPR).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to pitch to investors and partners.
Compensation & Equity
- The quoted salary figure is after approximately 9 months following VC round; earlier months may have reduced or nil salary depending on funding stage.
- Up to 3 months: potential non-full-time arrangement during angel round planning.
- 3–9 months: up to GBP 60K per annum.
- After 9 months: up to GBP 120K per annum (VC funding expected at this point).
- Equity stake: up to 10% before the upcoming funding round.
- Vestings: ESHOP Vesting Period 4 + 1 years.
Key Role Timeline
- Up to 6 months: Manage outsourced teams; contribute hands-on as required.
- After 6 months: Hire in-house tech team and take on management responsibilities.
