Job summary

Circle Recruitment is seeking a Head of Enterprise Architecture & Data for a leading law firm in Birmingham. The role leads enterprise and data architecture, shaping technology and data strategy to support the firm’s priorities, security, and innovation. Hybrid working with 2 days in the office.

The ideal candidate will drive architecture principles, governance, roadmaps, and a trusted data environment for reporting, compliance, and responsible AI adoption. Salary £100,000–£120,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience defining strategy, standards, governance and roadmaps in a complex environment.
• TOGAF hands-on experience.
• Data architecture experience.
• Business, application, integration and technology architecture."
• Designing scalable & resilient solutions across cloud and SaaS environments.
• AI governance, risk, assurance and control.
• Experience working for a Law firm / professional services environment would be ideal.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise architecture principles, standards, roadmaps and governance.
• Lead the firm's technology architecture, data strategy, governance, quality and management approach.
• Solution design for major initiatives, supporting simplification, resilience and reduction of technical debt.
• Set governance and design guardrails for AI-enabled and emerging technologies.
• Work closely with the technology leadership & business stakeholders to shape roadmaps and support informed decisions.
• Lead and develop the team, including Solutions Architects, Solutions Consultants, and Data Architects.
