Job summary

WiTMoney is seeking a Chief Content Editor to lead the editorial quality, strategy and governance for WiTMoney.co.uk. This is a senior, hands-on role combining editorial judgement with financial-services knowledge, SEO awareness and rigorous fact-checking.

You will ensure WiTMoney’s comparison pages, guides and provider profiles are accurate, clear and consistently high quality, with strong sourcing and risk context.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in financial journalism and consumer finance.
• Ability to simplify complex topics without losing accuracy.
• Strong editorial judgement and governance across a large site.
• Excellent editing, rewriting and fact-checking skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the editorial strategy and standards for WiTMoney.co.uk.
• Lead planning, commissioning, editing and publication of financial content, guides, explainers and provider information.
• Review and improve content across borrowing, banking, savings, investments, insurance, mortgages and business finance.
• Ensure articles and pages are accurate, balanced, easy to understand and suitable for a UK audience.
• Maintain house style, tone of voice, sourcing standards and fact-check processes.
