The Football Association is seeking a Chief Digital Officer to lead its digital transformation. This role focuses on creating and executing a strategic roadmap, aiming to unlock non-traditional revenue streams and enhance the digital experience for fans and grassroots participants. Essential skills include commercial acumen and team leadership, with a salary reflective of the seniority in the London market.
The Football Association [The FA] is the not-for-profit governing body of football in England. It is responsible for promoting and developing every level of the game, from grassroots through to the professional game, and generates significant revenue to support investment into English football each year.
The FA oversees England international teams across men's, women's, youth and disability football, as well as running the National League System and FA Competitions including the Emirates FA Cup, and Women's FA Cup, and the world-class facilities of Wembley Stadium and St. George's Park, all with a purpose to inspire positive change through football.
The FA is now seeking to appoint a Chief Digital Officer to drive the strategy and execution of our digital transformation, working in close partnership with the existing commercial, content, and technology teams.
The successful candidate will bring commercial acumen, product excellence, and delivery focus setting a long-term digital vision, while executing a one-to-two-year strategic roadmap that delivers tangible impact in the short term. This includes direct accountability for growing and owning new digital revenue streams whilst also leveraging expertise and experience to enable existing revenue streams to be optimised.
