Job summary

McLaren Racing seeks a Head of Digital Delivery & Governance to lead the planning and execution of McLaren's digital programmes across product, experience, engineering and platform teams. You will manage a team of project leads, ensure consistent governance, and coordinate across delivery partners to keep commitments, budgets and release readiness on track.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience leading delivery of multi-team, multi-partner digital portfolios at scale.
• Proven track record designing and running a delivery operating model and governance in a product-led organisation.
• Experience leading and developing project leads and programme managers, including blended permanent and contract teams.
• Proficient with agile at scale, hybrid delivery, release management and business readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of McLaren's digital programmes from investment approval through to launch, adoption and handover into support.
• Accountable for how programmes are run and landed; product and engineering teams remain accountable for what is built and how.
• Lead a team of project leads, setting standards for planning, reporting and risk, and building a high-performing delivery capability.
• Act as the central coordination point between product, experience, engineering and platform teams plus the wider business and delivery partners.
• Establish one consistent way of working across delivery teams with a single planning and reporting cadence.
• Own business partnering and demand management, ensuring requests are qualified, prioritised and visible.
• Define and run governance matched to risk with stage gates, RAID, change control and post-implementation reviews.
• Partner with engineering on release planning and business readiness for every release.
• Hold delivery partners to commitments through SOWs, KPIs, SLAs and performance reviews.
• Own the digital programme budget and forecast, and track benefits against business cases.
• Provide a trusted view of status, risk, spend and benefits for senior leadership.
• Measure delivery predictability and cycle time, applying AI where appropriate.
