Job summary

The North Sea Transition Authority seeks an exceptional Director of Digital and Data to shape the next chapter of its digital, data and technology function. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive and sitting on the Leadership Team, you will set strategic direction, oversee cyber security, data governance and major technology programmes.

Leading a directorate of around 30 specialists, you will ensure secure, resilient services and empower evidence‑based decision making for energy security,

Qualifications

• Experience leading digital transformation at scale within complex organisations.
• Track record translating strategy into tangible outcomes at Board/Executive level.
• Strong understanding of enterprise technology, cloud, data analytics and governance.
• Proven ability to manage risk and deliver large technology portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for digital, data and technology at the NSTA.
• Ensure digital services, data platforms and technology are secure, resilient and future‑ready.
• Lead cyber security, information governance and digital transformation initiatives.
• Oversee delivery of a substantial portfolio of digital and technology programmes.
• Champion the effective use of data, analytics and emerging technologies.
