Job summary

Mphasis UK Ltd seeks a Head of Compliance, Compliance Oversight & Money Laundering Reporting Officer to provide independent oversight of the regulatory compliance framework and to lead AML/CTF arrangements across the firm and its overseas Appointed Representative.

The role carries SMF16/SMF17 responsibilities, working with the Board and senior management to govern regulatory risk, consumer outcomes and compliance across outsourced activities.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a FCA-regulated financial services environment with strong knowledge of the FCA Handbook (CONC, SYSC, DISP, Consumer Duty) and SM&CR.
• Experience developing, implementing or monitoring compliance frameworks, policies and controls.
• Experience in compliance monitoring, regulatory advice and risk assessments; understanding AML/sanctions requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent oversight of FCA rules, legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Establish and maintain compliant systems, controls and a risk-based monitoring programme.
• Advise senior management and the Board on regulatory developments and risk opportunities.
• Oversee Consumer Duty and customer outcomes; supervise outsourced regulated activities.
• Act as MLRO/MLRO-related responsibilities as required and maintain regulatory relationships.
