Chief Commercial Officer / Commercial Director (SaaS), Hemel Hempstead

This role is based in Hemel Hempstead, United Kingdom, and requires an EU work permit. The position is a hybrid working arrangement (London/Remote - Flexible) with an initial 6-month contract, potentially extending to 12 months. The role involves leading the commercial strategy for a global property management SaaS platform, focusing on stabilising and scaling the UK market, with future international expansion plans.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute commercial strategies for sales, account management, and customer success.
• Manage client delivery, operations, and team accountability.
• Oversee compliance, billing, and service delivery performance.
• Collaborate with product leadership to align market needs and operational insights.
• Establish performance tracking, forecasting, and reporting frameworks.
• Operate as the day-to-day commercial lead during the founder's transition to a product-focused role.
• Support international expansion readiness, with a primary focus on stabilising the UK business.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in commercial leadership within SaaS, especially in growth-stage or scale-up environments.
• Proven track record of leading customer-facing teams in founder-led companies.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous, high-growth settings.
• Experience implementing structure and processes across sales, customer success, and operations.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including with founder personalities.
