Job summary

University of Hertfordshire seeks a strategic Head of Architecture and IT Development to lead Architecture, Systems Development, Business Applications, Digital Innovation, Data and UX. You will shape the Enterprise Architecture capability and support a new Student Record System while guiding AI adoption and digital transformation.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders, drive architecture standards, oversee enterprise platforms, and champion technology-enabled change to improve university

Qualifications

Significant leadership experience in architecture, software development, digital delivery or technology transformation.
Strong understanding of Enterprise Architecture and governance.
Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams and engaging senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic and operational leadership across architecture, development, and digital innovation.
Lead development of architecture standards, governance and enterprise systems.
Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies to improve services and student/staff experience.
