Job summary

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Director of Allied Health Professions to provide strategic leadership across the Trust, ensuring high standards of care and patient experience. You will report to the Chief Nursing Officer and shape professional and quality programmes.

You will deputise for the Chief Nurse & Quality Officer, collaborate with Network Directors of Nursing and AHP Leads, and promote inclusion and staff wellbeing while delivering Trust objectives.

Qualifications

• Registered Allied Health Professional (AHP) with HCPC registration.
• Masters level qualification in related subject or portfolio evidence.
• Evidence of CPD per regulatory guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead on strategic direction and professional leadership of all AHPs across the Trust.
• Ensure delivery of high standard care, patient experience and satisfaction.
• Provide cover for the Chief Nurse & Quality Officer as requested.
• Collaborate with Network Directors of Nursing and AHP Leads on quality and patient safety issues.

Education

Registered Allied Health Professional (AHP)

Masters level qualification in related subject / working towards or portfolio of evidence

Evidence of CPD in line with professional regulatory guidance
