Job summary

Huawei in the United Kingdom seeks a Chief AI System Software & Hardware Co-design Architect to lead the advancement of Huawei's AI processors and system software. You will steer end-to-end architectural evolution, from core chip design to compiler stacks, ensuring a competitive end-to-end solution.

You will guide cross‑functional teams across memory, interconnect, algorithms, frameworks, runtimes, modeling, simulation and SDKs, aligning with global roadmaps and industry trends to drive

Qualifications

• Expertise in optimizing AI chip architectures and systems.
• Strong strategic thinking from applications to chips.
• Proven ability to lead large technical teams and projects.
• Experience addressing NLP and large-scale AI model challenges.

Responsibilities

• Shape Huawei's AI processor core architectures and system software.
• Develop and drive global evolution strategies and roadmaps for AI systems.
• Lead cross-domain integration of memory hierarchy, interconnects, frameworks, runtimes and compilers.
• Anticipate AI industry trends and shape foundational software/hardware architectures.
• Orchestrate lifecycle management of complex R&D programs across global teams.
