Job summary

Allianz UK Personal is seeking a Head of Actuarial Pricing to steer the pricing function, enhance forecasting and analytics, and drive pricing innovation across data, technology and processes. The role requires collaboration with underwriting, finance and reserving to deliver strategic outcomes and regulatory compliance.

The role offers hybrid working across multiple UK offices, with attendance required in-person ~50% of the time and extensive leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of pricing and/or reserving in insurance markets.
• Expertise in actuarial methods and pricing.
• Strong numerical ability and ability to translate analyses for a broad audience.
• Experience leading pricing teams and managing stakeholders.
• Ability to drive pricing innovation and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the actuarial pricing function for personal lines, ensuring pricing strategy supports underwriting and corporate objectives.
• Own delivery of pricing forecasts and Best Estimates with robust analysis and recommendations.
• Develop pricing capability, frameworks and methodologies across value chain.
• Build collaborative relationships with Pricing, Underwriting, Claims and Reserving teams and senior stakeholders.
• Lead reporting in governance forums and group reporting processes.
• Coach and develop high-performing pricing teams with clear objectives.
