Veolia ES (UK) is seeking a Chempac Chemist for a mobile role based out of Marchwood, Southampton (SO40 4BD). You will list, package and label hazardous waste streams from customer sites across the Southern UK, assess drums for handling, and coordinate safe transport in 3.5t vans.

Proficiency with IT systems to generate documents and quotes is required. The role offers 40 hours per week at £28,000 per annum plus Veolia benefits, with generous annual leave and pension options and access to health

• Assess drums and their contents at customer premises to determine appropriate handling and classification
• Collect wastes from customer sites and ensure safe transportation in 3.5t Luton vans in accordance with road transport and hazardous waste regulations
• Use IT systems to generate transport documents, reference safety data sheets and generate quotes when required
