A leading cancer care provider is seeking a Band 5 Chemotherapy Nurse for a part-time, permanent position. The role involves assessing and administering treatments to oncology patients, requiring strong communication skills and nursing experience. Band 5 Chemotherapy Nurse - 28.5 hrs, permanent.
Monday-Friday working - 3 days
At the CANtreat Unit we assess and administer SACT treatments for oncology patients who have various different cancers. We are looking to recruit highly motivated individuals with excellent communication skills and evidence of continuing professional development. Experience in oncology nursing, cannulation, venepuncture and central line care are desirable for this post. However any individual who has not completed their SACT passport will be given time, support and further training to complete this.
