Job summary

Leaders In Care Ltd. is seeking a Community Chemotherapy Nurse to deliver chemotherapy and SACT to patients at home across Newcastle and Tyne and Wear, managing your own caseload with support from an experienced clinical team.

The role offers a Monday–Friday pattern with no nights, weekends or bank holidays, and a salary up to £44,500 with a company car or car allowance. Comprehensive benefits include private medical insurance and pension.

Qualifications

• Active NMC registration – Adult Nurse/RGN.
• Recent chemotherapy or SACT experience.
• Competency administering cytotoxic treatments.
• Strong cannulation and venous access skills.
• Confidence working autonomously and driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Delivering chemotherapy and SACT within patients’ homes.
• Completing pre-treatment assessments.
• Cannulation, venepuncture and vascular access management.
• Monitoring patients and managing adverse reactions.
• Providing patient education and ongoing support.
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
• Liaising with hospitals, consultants and MDTs.

Are you an experienced Chemotherapy Nurse or SACT Nurse looking for more autonomy, better work-life balance and the opportunity to deliver truly personalised patient care?

I’m recruiting for a leading specialist healthcare provider, looking for a Community Chemotherapy Nurse to deliver oncology and haematology treatments to patients across Newcastle and Tyne and Wear.

You’ll manage your own caseload, working one-to-one with patients in their own homes while being fully supported by an experienced clinical team.

The Role
