Position: Chemotherapy Nurse in the Primrose Unit at Bedford Hospital NHS Trust.

This is a developmental post from band 5 to band 6, requiring completion of a chemotherapy course, relevant qualification, sufficient chemotherapy delivery experience, and meeting set competencies for band 6.

Responsibilities include administering systemic anti-cancer treatments, providing high standards of cancer and palliative care, supervising junior staff, and working within a multidisciplinary team.

Essential skills: excellent communication and organizational skills, training in chemotherapy administration, high clinical standards, and clinical leadership.
