QC Chemist – Temporary Lab Analyst with SAP Data Entry

Job summary

SRG are seeking a QC Analyst for a temporary contract in West Yorkshire. The role focuses on testing production batches, in-process samples and raw materials, with full training provided. Recent chemistry graduates are encouraged to apply, as is those with proven industrial wet chemistry experience.

The position involves SAP data entry, batch inspection, data comparison to control limits and investigation of any non-conforming results, with a pro-rata salary of £24,500 for the contract duration.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry (or similar)
• Recent Chemistry graduates encouraged to apply
• Industrial experience in wet chemistry analysis is a plus

Responsibilities

• Carry out final testing on production batches
• Enter test data in SAP and maintain inspection lots
• Compare test data to control limits to identify out of spec batches
• Evaluate customer complaints and perform investigative lab work as required
• Carry out shelf life extension requests
• Provide testing and quality support for plant issues or IQ batches
• Conduct testing and support ongoing PT projects
• Ensure testing equipment is calibrated and maintained
• Maintain the lab to 5S standards
