Job summary

Agilent Technologies Inc. is seeking a hands-on Chemistry Manufacturing Technician for our Church Stretton Centre of Excellence.

You will work on large-scale chemical production, following strict health, safety, and quality procedures to ensure reliable materials for diagnostics and life science applications. After comprehensive training, you will calibrate and set up equipment, monitor processes, and maintain detailed production records while supporting improvements to efficiency and product

Qualifications

  • Chemistry degree or relevant experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment
  • Strong practical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow procedures accurately and maintain high quality standards
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Experience with large-scale chemical processes in manufacturing or lab settings is advantageous

Responsibilities

  • Working in accordance with Health & Safety and Quality Management System requirements (ISO 9001:2015)
  • Preparing, calibrating, and setting up equipment and raw materials for production activities
  • Operating and monitoring large-scale chemical manufacturing processes
  • Manufacturing and processing products in accordance with documented procedures
  • Accurately recording production activities, material movements, and process deviations
  • Maintaining high standards of quality, housekeeping, and safety within the production environment
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Chemistry Manufacturing Technician to join our growing team. What You'll Do

Following comprehensive training, your key responsibilities will include:

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

  • A degree in Chemistry or relevant experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment
  • Strong practical skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to follow procedures accurately and maintain high quality standards
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Previous experience with large-scale chemical processes in a manufacturing or laboratory setting is advantageous but not essential
