Job summary

Responsibilities

• Work in accordance with Health & Safety and ISO 9001:2015.
• Prepare, calibrate, and set up equipment and materials for production.
• Operate and monitor large-scale chemical manufacturing processes.
• Manufacture and process products per documented procedures.
• Accurately record production activities, material movements, and deviations.
• Maintain high standards of quality, housekeeping, and safety within the production environment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.

The Church Stretton Chemistries Centre of Excellence

Church Stretton Chemistries Centre of Excellence specializes in the design and manufacture of silica and polymeric particles for diagnostics, solid‑phase synthesis, and chromatographic applications. Our products support a wide range of industries including biopharmaceuticals, diagnostics, food safety, environmental testing, academia, chemicals, and advanced materials. What You’ll Do

• Working in accordance with Health & Safety and Quality Management System requirements (ISO 9001:2015)
• Preparing, calibrating, and setting up equipment and raw materials for production activities
• Operating and monitoring large‑scale chemical manufacturing processes
• Manufacturing and processing products in accordance with documented procedures
• Accurately recording production activities, material movements, and process deviations
• Maintaining high standards of quality, housekeeping, and safety within the production environment
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who enjoys practical, hands‑on work and has an interest in chemical manufacturing.

• A degree in Chemistry or relevant experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment
• Strong practical skills and attention to detail
• The ability to follow procedures accurately and maintain high quality standards
