Job summary

Kinetic plc is seeking a Chemical Process Operative in Cadishead, Salford to join the production team on a temporary basis. The role requires an FLT licence and experience in chemical processing, hazardous waste treatment or related industries.

You will operate equipment, monitor processes, take samples, and assist with transfers and tank offloading while adhering to health and safety protocols. The position offers training and development within a specialist industry and a starting hourly rate

Qualifications

• Valid FLT Licence.
• Experience in chemical/process manufacturing or hazardous materials environments.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate chemical processing equipment and plant machinery.
• Handle and process acids, alkalis, oxidisers and other chemicals.
• Monitor reactions and processing parameters; take samples and record results.
• Load, unload and move materials using an FLT.
• Assist with tanker offloading and liquid transfers.
• Carry out routine cleaning and maintenance.
• Follow strict Health & Safety procedures.

Chemical Process Operative

Kinetic are recruiting on behalf of a well-established industrial processing business based in Cadishead, Salford. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add an experienced Chemical Process Operator to their production team. You need to have an FLT for this position also.This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a background in chemical processing, hazardous waste treatment, manufacturing or process operations who also hold a valid FLT licence.

The Role of Chemical Process Operative includes:

• Operating chemical processing equipment and plant machinery
• Handling and processing acids, alkalis, oxidisers and other chemical products
• Monitoring reactions and processing parameters
• Taking samples and recording results
• Loading, unloading and moving materials using an FLT
• Assisting with tanker offloading and liquid transfers
• Carrying out routine cleaning and operational maintenance
• Following strict Health & Safety procedures at all times

The following is what you need to have to be considered for the Chemical Process Op:

• Valid FLT Licence
• Previous experience within a chemical, process manufacturing, waste treatment or hazardous materials environment
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Reliable with a flexible approach to work

It would be good if you had the below but NOT essential:

• Waste treatment or recycling processes
• Basic chemistry knowledge
• HGV experience
