Job summary

Kinetic plc is recruiting for an FLT / Process Operator in Cadishead, Salford. You will support day-to-day operations, handling materials safely and efficiently while maintaining high housekeeping and health & safety standards.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, loading/unloading pallets, and assisting with general site duties. A valid forklift licence and strong English are essential. Temp to perm opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Valid Forklift Truck Licence.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety procedures.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Previous experience of working within a chemical/waste or recycling plant.
• Practical approach with good common sense and attention to detail.

• Loading and unloading pallets of chemical and other waste containers from incoming vehicles.
• Operating a Forklift Truck (FLT) to move materials between storage and processing areas.
• Storing packaged materials safely and correctly in designated areas.
• Assisting with site housekeeping and maintaining a clean working environment.
• Preparing customer equipment, including lining open-top IBCs with plastic bags.
• Weighing and processing aluminium sheets.
• Supporting the wider operational team as required.

Kinetic are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading environmental services company for an FLT / Process Operator to join their busy operation in Cadishead Salford. Pay and additional details for this FLT Process Operator

• £13.22 per hour
• Monday to Friday 0800 1630
• Enhanced OT rates
• Additional training as and when

We're looking for reliable and hard-working individuals who are comfortable working in an industrial environment. Previous experience within waste management, recycling, chemical manufacturing or industrial operations would be advantageous.
