Job summary

Penny Brohn UK is seeking an experienced Chef on a zero-hour basis, with shifts advised in advance. You will prepare fresh nutritious meals for clients, supporters, visitors and staff in a kitchen that values teamwork and independence.

They require proven chef experience, a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain one) and availability to work across weekdays, evenings and weekends. The role offers a supportive environment and opportunities to contribute to wellbeing services.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Able to work flexibly across weekdays, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver healthy balanced meals aligned with nutrition guidelines.
• Maintain excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
• Assist with stock, ordering and overall kitchen organisation.
• Work with the kitchen team and also independently when required.
• Support occasional events and catering requests.
