Job Introduction

Hatfield, AL10 8XB
Rate of Pay:
£35,000 - £37,000 per annum
Working Pattern:
Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm, 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing delicious food
- Managing key aspects of the kitchen, including Health & Safety, and Training & Development
- Cooking for up to 100 people per day, including classic and street food meals
- Managing and working alongside a kitchen supervisor
- Receiving and managing food deliveries and storage
- Developing a great working relationship with clients, team, and customers to ensure the catering contract grows positively
- Ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety, with proper storage, handling, and preparation according to regulations
- Developing and implementing seasonal menus considering customer preferences, dietary needs, and cost-effectiveness
- Managing the kitchen budget, controlling food costs, and monitoring stock levels
- Addressing kitchen issues promptly and implementing solutions for smooth operations
Ideal Candidate
Should have a background in contract catering.
