Mai Sushi is recruiting a Full Time Chef Manager to join our team at our kiosk located at Marks & Spencer, 19 Fargate, Sheffield S1 1LF.

• Paying up to £13.11 per hour, depending on experience

About the role:

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience in leading teams, building confidence and capability
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, leading by example
• Pride in your work, with a desire to improve and learn
• Understanding of Food Safety & Health and Safety regulations, brand standards, and company policies
• Reliable transportation for early morning shifts

Additional Responsibilities:

• Maintain audit standards for food safety and health & safety compliance
• Ensure cleanliness and safety on-site
• Organize and plan ahead effectively
• Prepare ingredients including meat and raw fish
• Label products accurately for safety and allergen compliance
• Multitask efficiently
• Be an early riser, with shifts starting as early as 6 am
• Continuously learn and develop skills

Qualifications:

Level 2 Food Safety certificate, HACCP, Allergens, and COSHH are desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
