Job summary

PS Catering is seeking a Chef Manager for Ellingham Primary School in Chessington. Lead a busy school kitchen, deliver nutritious meals, and manage a small kitchen team with a focus on food safety and efficiency.

The role is term-time with holidays, a 30-hour week, and a salary (£21,500) paid across 12 months. Training will be provided to ensure success in this key school catering position.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience as a chef with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of Food Hygiene and Safety standards.
• Experience in contract catering and managing a medium-sized kitchen.
• A manual driving licence is required.

We’re searching for a passionate food professional to be a key part of our team at Ellingham Primary School, Chessington learn our systems, and help us deliver vibrant, nutritious meals that make school lunchtimes fun and memorable.

Working Hours are

30 hours per week- Term time only

(38 weeks per year plus 5.6 paid weeks holiday = 43.6 paid working weeks per annum paid in equal 12 monthly payments)Salary £21,500
