BaxterStorey in Peterborough is seeking a Chef Manager to lead a boutique kitchen. You will plan menus, supervise chefs and front of house, manage stock, control costs and uphold health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef Manager.
• Ideally background in corporate contract catering.
• Excellent culinary skills and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Menu planning and execution, ensuring consistency with location style and client preferences.
• Employee management, recruitment, training and coaching of kitchen staff.
• Inventory and cost control, stock monitoring and sensible ordering.
• Customer relations, addressing catering needs and gathering feedback.
• Health and safety compliance, enforcing food safety policies.
• Budget and financial management, reporting and cost-saving initiatives.
• Menu development and innovation, staying ahead of culinary trends.
• Compliance and documentation of inventory and processes.
