Role Overview:

We are seeking a Chef Manager for our lovely Independent Primary School. Your responsibilities include organizing and supervising the unit according to Compass Group UK & Ireland standards, contract specifications, and statutory regulations. You will ensure efficient management of the unit, providing quality food service, and managing resources effectively, including stock, team members, and assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate strong chef skills and food knowledge
• Manage and lead a small team effectively
• Maintain excellent communication and customer understanding
• Achieve results and hold team members accountable
• Ensure compliance with Food Hygiene standards (minimum Basic Food Hygiene certificate)
• Have at least 2 years of catering experience
• Possess strong financial acumen and IT literacy
