Job summary

Berkeley-Scott is seeking a Chef Manager for temporary agency assignments across schools and hospitality venues in St Albans, starting September. The role offers flexible working patterns with pay between £18.00 and £24.00 per hour, dependent on experience and the end client.

You will manage kitchen operations, lead staff, and ensure high standards of food safety and quality while working across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Chef Manager or in a similar kitchen management role.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• An Enhanced DBS certificate and the right to work in the UK required.

What we''re looking for:

• A minimum of 2 years'' experience as a Chef Manager or in a similar kitchen management role
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
• Experience working within schools or contract catering is desirable
• Two satisfactory references
• An Enhanced DBS certificate
• The right to work in the UK
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be an advantage, but is not essential
