Job summary

Loungers plc’s Bordo Lounge is hiring Chefs to join the kitchen team. You’ll cook to spec across tapas and all-day dishes, support the Head Chef, and keep standards high from prep to plate in a busy, friendly kitchen.

We offer up to £12.71/hr plus tips, paid breaks, staff meals each shift, and 50% off food and drinks from day one. This flexible contract role is ideal for experienced Chefs seeking variety, development, and a welcoming team.

Qualifications

• Experience as Grill Chef, Line Chef or Chef de Partie in a high-volume kitchen.
• Energetic, reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
• Able to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
• Commitment to food safety and allergen processes.
• Flexible with shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Cook fresh food to spec across tapas and all-day Lounge dishes.
• Support the Head Chef with prep, service and standards.
• Keep the kitchen clean, safe and fully prepped.
• Follow food safety and allergen processes at all times.
• Work as one team with FOH to deliver a great guest experience.
