Job summary

Based in Dunkeld, Scotland, this Chef role offers a great work-life balance in a busy, high-volume kitchen. You’ll join a friendly catering team and help deliver nutritious meals for guests, reporting to the Head Chef.

Typical hours are about 42 per week over five days with finishes around 8pm; there’s no Christmas work and you may have an evening off on a Friday or Saturday most weeks. Ideal for an experienced kitchen professional seeking stability.

Qualifications

• Catering experience in a high-volume environment is essential.
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and allergens.
• Ability to manage dietary requirements confidently.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety in Catering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals in a busy kitchen.
• Support stock ordering, organisation and cost control.

• Coach and support junior team members.
