Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a qualified chef to join our on-site kitchen team. You will handle day-to-day food preparation, manage your station for several dishes, and ensure meals are delivered on time while maintaining the site’s quality standards and service.

We prioritise safety and hygiene, teamwork and clear communication. The ideal candidate has proven chef experience in contract catering, a Level 2 catering and hospitality qualification or equivalent, and the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef in contract catering.
• Understands safety, hygiene, and storage procedures for food.
• Good listening and communication skills; team player.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day food preparation and duties at assigned station.
• Manage cooking process for several dishes and ensure timely delivery.
• Adhere to all safety, hygiene, and equipment procedures on site.
• Notify senior staff when ingredients run low to keep stock levels.
• Collaborate with culinary team to maintain high-quality food and service.
