Christ's Hospital Independent School in Horsham is recruiting an experienced Chef de Partie to join our catering team, delivering fresh, high-quality dishes for pupils and staff.

You will run your section, ensure HACCP compliance, train junior staff, and uphold Food Safety standards while maintaining high cleanliness and collaborating with the wider kitchen team. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive salary of £31,886 per year, based on a 40-hour week, 52 weeks per year.

Qualifikationen

• Experienced Chef de Partie in a professional kitchen.

• Knowledge of current food trends and culinary techniques.
• Strong knowledge of Food Safety, hygiene, Health & Safety and allergen requirements.

• Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
• Professional in presentation, communication and customer service.

Aufgaben

• Running your section to the required standards and specifications.
• Preparing, cooking and presenting fresh food to the required quality and portion standards.
• Ensuring all food is prepared in line with Food Safety, HACCP and allergen requirements.
• Following all company and client Health & Safety procedures and food information regulations.
• Supporting and training Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistants within your section.
• Ensuring food is stored correctly and waste is minimised.
• Assisting with food orders, deliveries and stock storage.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the kitchen and surrounding areas.
• Using all kitchen machinery and equipment safely and correctly.
• Supporting the wider team to ensure an efficient and effective food service.
• Carrying out any other reasonable duties required to support the catering operation.
