Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA is seeking a Chef de Partie at Mercure Chester Abbots Well Hotel to join our kitchen team. You will prepare, cook and present dishes within your specialty, train demi-chef de parties and commis, and support the sous and head chefs in menu development.

Maintain high hygiene standards, control portions and waste to protect margins, and deliver an exceptional guest experience in line with our brand.

Qualifications

• Great cooking skills and deep understanding of ingredients, flavors, and techniques.
• Ability to delegate tasks and lead a small team under pressure.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, hygienic kitchen and following safety regulations.
• Understanding of profit margins and cost control in a kitchen environment.
• Passion for guest experience and brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present dishes within your specialty.
• Train and supervise demi-chef de parties or commis.
• Assist sous chef and head chef with new dishes and menus.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety throughout the kitchen.
• Monitor portions and waste to protect margins and profitability.
• Contribute to the overall success of the kitchen and hotel F&B operations.
