Shepherd Neame’s The Old Mill in Kennington, Ashford is seeking a Chef de Partie to lead a kitchen section, prepare dishes to the highest standard, and support Head/Sous Chefs to deliver quality. The role offers an opportunity to develop professionally within Britain’s oldest brewer’s pubs.

You’ll work in a Grade II listed historic building, with view over the Great Stour River, and enjoy excellent staff benefits and flexible hours. Salary to be discussed at venue.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for your section, ensuring dishes are prepared and presented to company standards.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain smooth service during busy periods.
• Uphold hygiene, safety, and compliance standards at all times.
• Assist with stock control and ordering when required.
• Support and mentor junior team members, helping them develop their skills.
