Job summary

LJ Recruitment Limited is partnering with a care home in Burgess Hill to recruit a Chef de Partie. You will work with the Head Chef to prepare fresh, nutritious meals and present them to a high standard, maintaining hygiene and safety standards. A genuine passion for cooking, reliability and team spirit are essential.

Full-time, permanent role with an hourly rate of £17.50, 37.5 hours per week. Competitive salary and development opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Experience as Chef de Partie or similar role in a kitchen.
• Knowledge of menus, dietary requirements and allergen awareness.
• Excellent food hygiene and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook fresh, nutritious meals to a high standard.
• Follow menus and recipes while accommodating dietary needs.
• Assist Head Chef and support kitchen operations.
• Maintain food hygiene, cleanliness and health & safety standards.
• Ensure safe storage and handling of food and minimize waste.
• Work as part of a friendly kitchen team.
