Job summary

Compass Group UK is seeking a Chef de Partie to support Defence with high-quality, customer-focused food service. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, and focused on delivering exceptional meals while upholding hygiene and safety standards.

You will contribute to menu development, supervise kitchen activities, and respond to client feedback to continuously improve our offerings. A strong passion for food and service is essential.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent required.
• Food Hygiene certificate required.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Experience in a similar Chef role.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.
• Overseeing and implementing menu changes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve our food services.
• Listening and acting on customer feedback to improve our services.
• Supporting with the creation of new menus and concepts.
• Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Monitoring inventories to keep kitchens well-stocked.
• Overseeing kitchen cleaning to maintain hygiene standards.
• Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.
