Job summary

ESS – Defence, Energy and Government Services in the UK is seeking a Chef De Partie to support Defence catering on a full-time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week. You will prepare delicious, high-quality food and help maintain a positive brand image across client sites.

You will supervise a kitchen team, implement menu changes, respond to customer feedback, and contribute to creating new concepts while upholding food hygiene and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Passion for great-tasting food and exceptional customer service.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Experience in a similar Chef role.
• Hold a Food Hygiene certificate.
• Flexible approach to working.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights clients and customers.
• Overseeing and implementing menu changes
• Identifying opportunities to improve food services
• Listening and acting on customer feedback to improve services
• Supporting with the creation of new menus and concepts
• Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image
• Monitoring inventories to keep kitchens well-stocked
• Overseeing kitchen cleaning to maintain hygiene standards
• Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations
