Chef de Partie - Birchwood Park Golf Club - Wilmington, Dartford

Job Type: Full Time - Permanent

RESPONSIBLE TO: Head Chef/Sous Chef

The Role:

Responsible for day-to-day food preparation for the golf course; supervises kitchen porters & Commis Chefs; manages food cost of sales to budget; collaborates with the Head Chef to develop revenue and expense plans to maximize sales and profitability while maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.

A Little Bit About You:

• You will complete all food preparation for all catering outlets, including bar/lounge, snack bar, on-course sales, and the function suite.
• You will keep all relevant records, such as temperature sheets and food labelling, up to date.
• You will implement and maintain effective inventory and shortage controls.
• You will ensure that all policies and procedures related to the Food and Beverage department are properly enforced and followed, including personnel management, sanitation, food preparation, storage, health, and safety.

Ideal Candidates Will:

• Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Meet all standards for performance, appearance, and service delivery.
• Maintain existing food programs and develop new concepts and strategies to ensure the highest quality of food and service, meeting customer expectations and encouraging repeat business.
• Comply with BGL personnel policies and health and safety regulations.
