We are actively seeking a Chef de Partie to work as part of our kitchen brigade in our Hillfield Kitchen, creating dishes for our hyper-local English brasserie restaurant. Your main focus will be to assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the preparation and service of food, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times.

Role Responsibility

Lots to do but lots of fun

The Chef de Partie will be responsible for:

  • Assist the brigade in the smooth, safe, and efficient running of the kitchen operation.
  • Help develop creative menus and ensure the quality of food meets the high standards expected of the restaurant.
  • Inform the Sous Chef of relevant feedback from colleagues or guests.
  • Assist in other sections and mentor the Commis Chef and Demi CDP in their tasks.
  • Support daily ordering, considering stock usage, menu planning, and business levels.
  • Ensure the kitchen meets company standards for cleanliness, stock control, and work prioritization.
