Bupa's Richmond Village Willaston is seeking a Chef De Partie to join their luxury retirement village team, blending culinary skill with lifestyle balance.

You will support the Head Chef, prepare meals including modified diets for residents with health needs, and ensure high-quality dining aligned with a luxury experience.

Qualifications

Job Title: Chef De Partie

Location: Richmond Village Willaston, 261 Crewe Road, Nantwich, CW5 6GX

Salary: £29,012 plus Excellent Benefits and £1,000 welcome bonus

Contract: Permanent – Full Time - 40hrs

Shift: Shifts 7am-3pm & 10am-6.30pm 5 days from 7 - NO SPLIT SHIFTS

The role of Chef De Partie in this luxury retirement village is a blend of culinary skill and lifestyle balance. With a roster planned and sociable shifts, you will enjoy a work-life balance while showcasing your talents Supporting the Head Chef’s vision and responsibilities. This role also serves as a stepping stone for aspiring chefs aiming to progress. You will be aware of resident’s food allergen and dietary requirements and have experience in providing modified foods & preparation of modified diets including puréed, soft, and texture-adapted meals for residents with specific health needs, whilst maintaining food quality and presentation to that of a luxury experience.

Key Skills / Qualifications

• Cooking and preparing food in accordance with food hygiene regulations and safety standards.
• Participating in the preparation and serving of meals on the hotplate, as required.
• Ensuring all food is used within the prescribed period, with particular attention to perishable (high-risk) goods.
• Supporting a welcoming and dignified dining experience for all residents.
• Understanding of health and safety procedures.
• NVQ or equivalent City & Guilds qualification in Professional Cookery.
• CIEH Level 2 Food Safety Award or equivalent certification.
• A strong team player who enjoys working collaboratively to deliver excellent dining experiences.
• Because we care for vulnerable people, we’ll need you to complete a DBS check as part of the recruitment process. Bupa will cover the cost of this (£40).
