Job summary

Hiddenwell Luxury Wellness Retreat is seeking a dedicated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team in a full-time role at Ardencote Manor. You will work 40 hours per week, taking charge of your section, supporting daily operations, and contributing to menu development with fresh ingredients.

The ideal candidate is passionate, collaborative, and committed to high standards of food hygiene, teamwork, and continuous improvement in a busy kitchen.

Qualifications

Passion for delivering high-quality food and great flavour.
Strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices.
Ability to lead and motivate others while maintaining calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

Preparing and delivering food to a consistently high standard
Taking responsibility for your section and supporting daily kitchen operations
Helping to supervise, train and motivate the kitchen team
Supporting stock control, ordering and monthly stocktakes
Checking deliveries and ensuring ingredients meet our quality standards
Helping to reduce food waste and manage stock effectively
Bringing ideas to regular menu changes using fresh ingredients
Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
Completing food and fridge temperature checks
Delegating tasks effectively when required
Communicating closely with the wider kitchen and restaurant teams

We’re looking for a passionate and motivated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team

This is a great opportunity for a chef who takes pride in delivering fantastic food, enjoys working as part of a team and is ready to take on more responsibility in a busy kitchen environment

What You'll Do

Preparing and delivering food to a consistently high standard
Taking responsibility for your section and supporting daily kitchen operations

Additional Information

40 hours per week – Full-Time permanent position
Working 5 days out of 7 per week (including weekends and bank holidays, you will need to be flexible to the business needs)
Right to work in the UK required as time of application (visa sponsorship is not available)
