We have an exciting opportunity at The Venues Collection, Sedgebrook Hall for an ambitious Chef De Partie to help us create exceptional food experiences. This is a full-time position, contracted to 40 hours per week, paying £14.39 an hour.

As a Chef De Partie, you will work in a passionate team to deliver outstanding culinary experiences. You must be quick-thinking, adaptable, and calm under pressure, often making short-notice adjustments due to supply or staffing issues. You will serve as a key link between the Sous Chef, Head Chef, and the team, playing a vital role in our kitchen.

Sedgebrook Hall Northampton is located in Chapel Brampton, Northamptonshire, set in 13 acres of gardens. The historic manor house and grounds provide a picturesque setting for work and leisure.

Job Description:

You will ensure food service meets our standards, support the Sous and Head Chef, and lead the team during service when needed. Responsibilities include maintaining food safety and hygiene, managing your section, and supporting various service areas.

• Preparing and serving food to standards
• Working on meals for restaurant, banqueting, and bar
• Supporting the Head Chef during service
• Managing your section, ordering supplies
• Experience in busy hotel, pub, or restaurant kitchens
• Experience with multi-outlet hotel kitchens and event service
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Anticipating and responding to customer needs
• Upholding personal hygiene and dress code
• Participating in stock management and control
• Adhering to food safety standards and risk assessments
