Job summary

Blue Arrow is seeking Enhanced DBS relief chefs to work across a range of kitchens in Nottinghamshire and surrounding sites. This flexible agency role offers weekly pay, competitive hourly rates and shifts that fit around your availability.

Ideal candidates will have prior chef experience, a valid Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one, and a Food Hygiene certificate. Join a committed recruitment team supporting your flexible schedule and ongoing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef or Cook in a professional kitchen (in multiple settings if possible).
• Possess an Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Hold a valid Food Hygiene/Food Safety certificate.
• Demonstrate reliability, flexibility and a positive attitude.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Cook in a professional kitchen across schools, care homes, nurseries, colleges, hospitals and contract sites.
• Produce high-quality food meeting service standards.
• Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines at all times.
• Be flexible with shifts and locations as required by Blue Arrow.
