Job summary

Six by Nico in Leeds is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our busy kitchen. You will support the Head Chef and Sous Chefs, help run a section during service, and ensure a high level of food safety and quality.

You should have good knowledge of modern food preparation techniques, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask under pressure. Travel opportunities across all Six by Nico sites are available after probation.

Qualifications

• Be able to take direction from Head Chef & Sous Chefs while assisting with daily kitchen running and maintaining high level of food safety.
• Be responsible for running a section during service; sections will alternate for personal development.
• Have a good knowledge & understanding of food and modern preparation techniques and food safety.
• Be committed to delivering first class service.
• Have a positive attitude and ability to multitask.
• Have good organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef & Sous Chefs with daily kitchen operations and uphold food safety standards.
• Take charge of a kitchen section during service and rotate sections for development.
• Apply knowledge of modern cooking techniques and food safety practices.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality dishes and customer service.
• Maintain a positive, multitasking work approach under pressure.
• Keep organized and efficient during busy service periods.
