Job summary

Six by Nico Cardiff is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen. We operate a changing menu concept, offering continual development of skills across diverse cooking styles and sections.

You will run a kitchen section during service, maintain high food safety standards, and contribute to delivering first-class hospitality. A positive attitude, multitasking ability and strong organisational skills are essential as you work with Head and Sous Chefs.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy kitchen with strong food safety practices.
• Ability to take direction from Head Chef and Sous Chefs.
• Knowledge of modern cooking techniques.
• Commitment to delivering first-class service.
• Positive attitude and ability to multitask.
• Excellent organisational skills under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily kitchen running and maintain high safety standards.
• Run a section during service; sections rotate for development.
• Contribute to menu execution with knowledge of techniques.
• Support Head Chef and Sous Chefs to deliver quality dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety compliance.

The role

Due to our unique concept, we change menus on a regular basis which will give you the opportunity for continual development of your skills and knowledge with different cooking styles.

As a Chef de Partie at Six by Nico, you will:

• Be able to take direction from the Head Chef & Sous Chefs while assisting with the daily running of the kitchen, ensuring high level of food safety is maintained
• Be responsible for running a section during the day to day service; sections will alternate for your personal development
• Have a good knowledge & understanding on food, modern food preparation techniques and food safety.
• Be committed to delivering first class service
• Have a positive attitude and ability to multitask
• Have good organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
