Job summary

Lexington-Catering in London is seeking a Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team, delivering high-quality food while upholding safety, presentation, and service standards. Work closely with the Sous Chef and Catering Manager to support smooth daily operations and an outstanding customer experience.

The role involves training team members, managing stock within budget, and maintaining expert knowledge of menus. 5 days out of 7, with a vibrant, supportive environment and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and presenting food to the highest standards.

  • Assisting with ordering, control and management of food stocks to meet budgets.
  • Maintaining up-to-date product and menu knowledge.
  • Delivering high standards of food quality, presentation, and portion control.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and prep areas.
  • Providing warm, professional customer-focused service.

What you'll be doing

As a Chef de Partie, you will be an important part of the kitchen team, helping to deliver high-quality food while maintaining excellent standards across food safety, presentation, and service. This is a great opportunity to join a recently mobilised Lexington contract and contribute to the continued development of the catering offer.

Working closely with the Sous Chef and Catering Manager, you will help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen and support the delivery of an outstanding customer experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and presenting food to the highest standards
  • Supporting, mentoring, and training members of the kitchen team in line with company procedures
  • Ensuring all food preparation complies with COSHH, Food Safety, and Health & Safety regulations, and reporting any incidents appropriately
  • Assisting with the ordering, control, and management of food stocks to meet budget requirements
  • Maintaining up-to-date product and menu knowledge
  • Delivering consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, and portion control
  • Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen and food preparation areas
  • Providing a warm, professional, and customer-focused service at all times

Working Pattern: 5 days out of 7
