Chef de Partie – Hospitality, Events & Fine Dining - Liverpool Street, London

Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week - £17.14 per hour

We are looking for a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at a prestigious site near Liverpool Street.

You will be involved in the delivery of daily office catering, corporate hospitality, fine dining-style service, canapés and high-volume events, making this an excellent opportunity for a Chef de Partie looking to develop their experience within a premium contract catering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Run an allocated section of the kitchen efficiently and to consistently high standards.
• Prepare, cook and present dishes to agreed recipes, presentation standards and portion specifications.
• Support the delivery of high-volume events and hospitality services, ensuring food is prepared accurately, consistently and on time.
• Work across a range of services including daily office catering, corporate hospitality, events, receptions, canapés and formal dining.
• Maintain excellent presentation standards, particularly when producing food for VIP, client and event functions.
• Work effectively under pressure during busy service periods and large-scale events while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
• Ensure all food is produced in line with client expectations, agreed menus and presentation specifications.
• Supervise, support and train Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistants within your section.

About You

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie within hospitality, events, fine dining or high-end contract catering.
• Confident preparing and presenting refined, high-quality dishes and canapés to exacting standards.
• Experience working across corporate events, private functions, receptions, hospitality services and busy restaurant-style environments.
• Strong cooking skills with excellent knowledge of preparation, cooking techniques and presentation.
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly when producing food for events and premium hospitality services.
• Creative and knowledgeable about current food trends, modern presentation and contemporary cuisine.
• Previous experience within contract catering is desirable.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen, particularly during busy event services.
• Able to remain calm, organised and professional under pressure.
• Strong understanding of food hygiene, health & safety and allergen procedures.
• Experience supporting, supervising and developing Commis Chefs and junior kitchen team members.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Passionate about food, hospitality and delivering an exceptional guest experience.
• Flexible and willing to support different areas of the kitchen and wider operation when required.

The successful Chef de Partie will be comfortable moving between different styles of service and adapting to the demands of each event.
