Job summary

The Wordsworth Inn, part of The Inn Collection Group in Grasmere, is seeking a Chef de Partie to join a food-led operation with ambitious plans. You’ll handle your section, ensure food presentation and quality, and work closely with the team to maintain high standards.

Ideally you have experience in a similar role, a passion for great food, and a commitment to food safety and teamwork in a busy kitchen.

With 55 bedrooms, 196 internal covers and 148 external covers, this is a substantial, food-led operation with ambitious plans, located in the heart of Grasmere.

You'll Fit Right Inn

As Chef de Partie, you’ll be at the heart of our kitchen, ensuring presentation and attention to detail are paramount. With experience in a similar role and a genuine passion for food, you’ll take full responsibility for your section, delivering exceptional food service from start to finish.

You will oversee food safety, storage, and compliance with legislation and company policy, working closely with the team to maintain high standards. Strong communication, time-keeping, and organizational skills are key as you collaborate with kitchen staff, front-of-house, and management teams. You’ll work efficiently under pressure, preparing food items timely and maintaining a clean working station.
